Conference Background
Over the past decade, CRISPR diagnostics have progressed through crucial stages—from basic scientific discovery and methodological validation to engineering exploration along multiple pathways. With optimized enzyme systems, the establishment of industry standards, and improved integration capabilities of testing platforms, the technology is gradually moving beyond laboratory validation and entering a window for industrial implementation. The next three to five years are expected to be a critical period in which CRISPR diagnostics advance from technical feasibility to practical application, and from validation to products.
The industrial implementation of CRISPR diagnostics requires deep collaboration between the scientific and industrial communities. This conference is positioned not only as an academic exchange, but also as an open platform centered on “translation and connection,” facilitating efficient alignment between research outcomes and industry needs. Here, scientific discovery goes beyond publications, and technological innovation goes beyond laboratory validation, with greater emphasis placed on translating innovation into real-world industrial value.
The CRISPR Diagnostics Developer Conference will focus on core technology pathways, real-world demand scenarios, and industrial applications. Approximately 40 early- and mid-career developers working on CRISPR diagnostic technologies and scenario-based applications will be invited to jointly explore the innovation directions and industrial future of next-generation molecular diagnostics.
